InnerVisions Art Show - Opening Reception December 21st

Aisha Renee is one of the artists featured in our current art display. She is part of a local art collective. InnerVisions was established in 2018. This group of women artists come together with different perspectives but with a common goal which is to share their stories, express, cultivate and show their inner vision through art. The collective is composed of 9 Denver-based Women of Color Artists.

Aisha's bio:

I AM a work in progress. Art allows me to heal myself, as well as give love to those I make art for. Through art, I document my culture. I like to explore a notion of making new traditions. I create as proof of existence. I paint to evoke feelings of acceptance, pride and wholeness. I design to be a reflection. I create for representation. For as long as I can remember, all I’ve ever wanted to do is to be a source of style, beauty, and love.

You can see the work of InnerVisions at Coffee at The Point over the next two months or come meet all the artists in person on December 21st from 5 pm - 9 pm. The Opening Reception will include a Solstice Celebration, Open Mic and Marketplace.
