Meet Your Barista - Molly

Hi. My name is Molly Heckman. I am originally from Bozeman, Montana. My boyfriend Skyler and I moved to Denver a year ago to pursue our careers. I attended Health Works Institute in Bozeman in 2014 for my basic aesthetic education and then attended the National Laser Institute in Scottsdale, Arizona for my advanced skin care and cosmetic lasering certifications in 2016. I choose skin care because I personally struggle from severe psoriasis. I found myself constantly at a dead end of endless prescriptions and unanswered questions from my doctors. So I decided to answer them myself through my education and research. I am an aesthetician at Dermal Advantage Body and Skin Care in Denver off of I-25 and Colorado Blvd. We focus on corrective facials for aging and common skin conditions. I am in love with what I do. It's more than just skin care, it's helping people become the best possible versions of themselves by building their self confidence. I also enjoy enjoy being active and in motion. I became interested in working at Coffee at The Point because coffee is my second love (behind skin). I have been working in the coffee industry on and off for the past 10 years. I always find myself returning for its fun environment and great customers. It's also a nice change from the calm and slow vibe of the clinic. Creative expression is a way of life for me. I enjoy yoga, aerial arts, and cooking in my spare time. I grew up as a gymnast, dancer, and cheerleader so performance, energy, and movement are ingrained in who I am.
