Planning for Life

My name is Donovan Cobbins and I helped my brother, Ryan, open Coffee at The Point in 2010. I still help with Coffee at The Point, but I spend the majority of my time helping individuals, families, and small businesses with attaining financial security. As a Financial Representative with Modern Woodmen Fraternal Financial, I use baking products, life insurance, retirement accounts, and other financial tools to help my clients Plan For Life. One of the most exciting aspects of the organization I represent is the ability to give back to the Five Points community – as a national organization, we put nearly $20 million back into the community each year. I have been working with Gilpin Montessori since last school year in administering our free Youth Financial Literacy program to their 4th, 5th, and 6th graders. I’ve also been able to use our Modern Woodmen Service Project program to help get meals for a Curtis Park family experiencing hardship. I will be using this space in the future to highlight different financial topics and local events.
Please contact me to schedule a free appointment to discuss your financial goals or to find out about any of our free youth programs.
