Meet The Artists - Kenny & Kati

The work of Kati Stanford and Kenny Burton will be featured at Coffee at The Point starting the afternoon of Sunday, March 31st. You'll be able to meet these talented artists at their Meet The Artist event on April 13th from 6 pm - 8 pm.

About Kenny:

Kenny Burton is an acrylic painter, musician and athlete living in Denver, CO. He is inspired by geometricity, distortion, spatial visualization, light-play, nature, lava lamps and disco. Kenny designs Colorado roadways by day and surrealist landscapes by night. Through his painting he hopes to inspire adventure, wonder and humor. When he is not painting, Kenny enjoys biking around the city, rocking out in his basement studio, eating PEZ and traveling. He continues to push the boundaries of order and chaos, the real and imaginary through his artistic practice.

About Kati:

Kati Stanford is a mixed media artist, printmaker, and aspiring mediator/conflict coach. Working primarily with collage, acrylics, wood, and relief printmaking techniques, she is inspired by the natural world, community building, and the paradoxes of life that are teased out by exploring nature, science, and personal development. She is finishing her Masters in Alternative Dispute Resolution at the University of Denver and aspires to run her own mediation practice. In her free time you can find her reading, meeting new neighbors, and looking for all the stand up comedy Denver has to offer.
