Care Not Cages: Holiday Card-Making Party

Join Denver Black & Pink & allies for our annual holiday cards for LGBTQ prisoners event!

The holidays can be a challenging and lonely time when you’re in prison and away from loved ones, so we'll be decorating and sending holiday cards to some of our 250 incarcerated LGBTQ members in Colorado. That's a lot of cards so we will need your help!

This will be one of at several card-making parties happening across Colorado (Denver x 2, Boulder, & Colorado Springs) in conjunction with our national effort of sending cards to ALL our 14,000 incarcerated members.

Coffee at The Point has graciously donated there event space for us, so please stop by, grab some drinks & snacks from their bar, and decorate holiday cards with us!

We will have all the supplies you need to make your holiday cards as well as ways to get more involved in the local movement.

Lastly, if you're able, please bring a few dollars to help us cover postage & supplies. Any money raised beyond the cost of supplies will be used to support wages for formerly incarcerated members of Black & Pink, bail funds, re-entry support and other local & national Black & Pink funds.
